Alisha Moopen is the Deputy Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare providers in the GCC and India. Since joining in 2013, she has led the company’s strategic growth, including expansion into new markets. Aster operates across 7 countries with 33 hospitals, 127 clinics, 229 labs, and over 527 pharmacies, employing more than 31,000 people.
She was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and became the first female Chapter Chair of YPO Dubai. Alisha also serves on several boards, including Dubai Healthcare Business Group and the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park. She has received multiple accolades, including Healthcare CEO of the Year, and is consistently recognized as one of the most influential women in business and healthcare.

Empowerment & Impact
Alisha is a strong advocate for women’s empowerment, mental health, and inclusive leadership. She launched the Women in Leadership program at Aster DM Healthcare and actively supports social impact initiatives through the Aster DM Foundation and Aster Volunteers.
Her philosophy — “Healthiness is Happiness” — drives her mission to deliver compassionate, tech-enabled healthcare. With a background in finance, leadership training from Harvard, and prior experience at Ernst & Young, Alisha combines purpose-driven leadership with global expertise.
