SRTI Park hosted an international-student meeting under the supervision of the United Nations
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (November 15, 2021): The Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) hosted an international student meeting under the supervision of the United Nations. Over 450 students from 60 countries and various international universities participated in the event.
Hussain Mohammed Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTIP, expressed his gratitude to the participants for attending the event. He congratulated them on taking part in the various debates and discussions on some of the major issues facing the world today, including those about the environment, science and research, which supports the position of Sharjah as the capital of education and culture.
Al Mahmoudi indicated that the hosting of this meeting reflects the quality of education in the universities in Sharjah, which contributes to attracting students from all over the world to study there.
The Change the World Model UN Emirates take place under the auspices and thanks to the moral support of the Embassy of Italy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai.
The students debated about climate change and international issues in the beautiful venue of the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park.
The Change the World is a global program involving more than 5000 students every year, in which they debate the major issues of the world.
