H.E. Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer

Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, with a distinguished career in business development and operations, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), where he oversees the operational execution of all projects and destinations.

An alumnus of Dubai Men’s College, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology. Ahmed commenced his professional journey at The Emirates Telecommunication Corporation (Etisalat) in 2002, focusing on Government & Corporate Segments as a senior sales executive. In 2006, his expertise led him to the Al Qasba Development Authority.

As an instrumental figure, he was pivotal in transforming Al Qasba into a sought-after leisure and tourism spot. By 2010, Ahmed's visionary leadership was recognized as he took on the role of Director of Property Management at Shurooq, further elevating to his present COO role in 2011.
